Spiral is a jazz/funk trio that combines some of Chicago's top musicians into one high powered group. Drummer and Chicago Jazz Magazine publisher Mike Jeffers along with saxophonist Mike Frost head up this group combining classic jazz standards with R&B and Funk, Fusion classics to create an exciting sound.

The Spiral Jazz/Funk trio combines saxophone, piano/organ and drumset together to establish a very full grooving sound on jazz standards made famous by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Nat Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and more modern R&B/Jazz based music from Al Green, Herbie Hancock and others.

The Spiral Jazz/Funk Trio also can perform more than just jazz standards and classics, because of the musicianship of the group they can also branch into more the more funky fusion sounds from such artists as Al Jarrea, Grover Washington Jr., David Sanborn which appeal to a very wide audience.
