Spiral is a jazz/funk trio that combines some of Chicago's top musicians into one high powered group. Drummer and Chicago Jazz Magazine publisher Mike Jeffers along with saxophonist Mike Frost head up this group combining classic jazz standards with R&B and Funk, Fusion classics to create an exciting sound.

The Spiral Jazz/Funk trio combines saxophone, piano/organ and drumset together to establish a very full grooving sound on jazz standards made famous by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Nat Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and more modern R&B/Jazz based music from Al Green, Herbie Hancock and others.

The Spiral Fusion Quartet adds guitar and electric bass to the group allowing the band to branch out and do even more music from their funk and jazz fusion repertoire from such artists as Al Jarrea, Grover Washington Jr., David Sanborn along with Spiral's original music creating excitement and energy at every performance.
